Power system stabilizer based on grey prediction and extension control

As the applications of PSS(Power System Stabilizer) based on classic linear / nonlinear control in nonlinear and time-varying modern power system are really non-satisfying,the PSS based on grey prediction technology and extension control strategy is proposed,which combines the "prior control" of grey prediction and the real-time performance of extension control without precise mathematical model to effectively suppress low-frequency oscillation and improve system stability. The simulative results of a multi-machine system show that,compared with the traditional PSS or the PSS based on extension control,it has better control effect.
