A method is presented for elaboration parameters of seismic action on the territory of Tbilisi region. This study has taken into account stochastic nature of earthquakes. Some steps are considered to generate a synthetic ground motion accelerogram compatible with a response spectrum. A mathematical model to simulate ground motion processes is proposed for which both intensity and frequency content are non-stationary. The simulated time histories fit the recorded accelerograms in terms of several ground-motion amplitude measures, such as Peak Acceleration, Fourier Spectra and Response spectra. The method consists in correlating the simulation parameters with earthquake magnitude, source distance and soil conditions. Keywords-Ground, Motion, Seismic, Stochastic, Accelerogram
