A method of implementing superposition coding for a forward link in a wireless communication system

A method for implementing overlapped coding for a forward link in a wireless communications system is provided to transmit signals of the wireless communication system efficiently and reliably. Feedback information is received from two or more access terminals. Two or more ATs are allocated as a first AT or a second AT based on feedback information. One or more inputted data stream performs channel coding by a channel coding technique. One or more data stream is modulated by using a layered modulation technique. Radio resources are allocated to symbols of a first AT and a second AT. Symbols are transmitted to one or greater among the first AT and the second AT according to the allocated radio resource.
