Algorithmic Music Composition

Algorithmic Composition is a concept wherein computers are the main composers of music, as opposed to humans. In this report we explore the applicability of genetic algorithms and other machine learning techniques in the generation of style-imitative musical compositions, based on a corpus of pre-existing scores.
