EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON OVERFLOW FILTRATION CLASSIFICATION OF β-SiC POWDER

β-SiC powders have been classified by hydraulic overflowing filtering method,the dual function of the overflowing and filtering classification have been reached.Then the influence of overflowing flux and bed height on filtering classification has been studied,and the products classified have been analyzed by granulometer and SEM.The new results shows,the W5,W3.5,W2.5,W1.5 products can be achieved steadily,and the classification precision and productity are satisfactory,so the new requirements of narrow-level stable classification for β-SiC powder have been reached.
