Application of holographic synthetic aperture radar techiques to monochromatic swept-angle bistatic data

Conventional narrow angle SAR requires frequency diversity to achieve range resolution. Sufficient bandwidth is not always available, especially when using CW radars. Holographic SAR (HSAR) imaging techniques can be applied to a wide variety of different measurement configurations, including monochromatic as well as frequency diverse. An introduction to HSAR theory is presented. This is followed with several case studies, including the specific application to monochromatic swept-angle bistatic data.
