The success of JIM'95 led to the formation of the ADERIM association, whose aim is to promote the research and teaching of Computer Music in France. One of its current goals is to ensure the continuity of the JIM events. Next year's JIM will take place in a castle near Caen, a city well known for its "tripes a la mode de Caen," among other things.
