A magnetic multiplier with a controllable reduction ratio for wind and small hydroelectric power plants

Data are given on the design-theoretical basis of the possibility of the feasibility and promising applications of a magnetic multiplier with a controllable transmission ratio in low power engineering. The controllable multiplier allows a constant synchronous speed of the generator to be maintained and the output power regulated at a changeable rotation frequency of the drive turbine. This becomes possible using a traditional construction with the addition of permanent magnets of another rotating part and with the influence of an outside mechanical moment.
