Protection configuration for grid interconnection of Fengxian Wind Power Field

The protection of the 35 kV Xinhai Substation used for grid interconnection of Fengxian Wind Power Field to Shanghai Electric Power Grid was introduced. Through the short-circuit current calculation, the corresponding protection plans were configured by different short-circuit points and analyzed. It is considered that the sensitivity of the generating units adopted by the wind power units to voltage fluctuation simplifies the protection configuration of the substation.
