The Minimum Cost Current Predictive Control Strategy for Three-Phase Inverter

For the output current distortion and larger harmonic of conventional PWM inverter, a predictive control method with minimum cost current is proposed. Based on the predictive control model of the inverter and load, the forecast current is calculated by the sampling current and predictive model. Furthermore, the optimum switching vectors with minimum cost and lower switching times can be got through the calculation of cost and switching times. Then we can realize the minimum current tracking error and switching loss of power device. The simulation results show that the proposed method is good to solve the output current distortion and larger harmonic of conventional PWM inverter. Meanwhile, the method provides a theoretical reference to further optimize the control of the power converter.
