Study on monitoring and prediction information system for underground cavern construction

According to the characteristics of uncertainties in rock-mass parameters and the disordered information management in the process of underground cavern design and construction,it is necessary to back-analyze the rock-mass parameters and to manage the data as well as figures effectively.The information management software for underground cavern design and construction is implemented under the Delphi environment and based on three key techniques: database,object-oriented and visualization,which can be used as visualized back analysis and forecast tool and can undertake an effective management of these information.The software system is designed to have general functions,interface and so on;therefore it can be developed further for the application to other similar geotechnical projects.
