Design and stability analysis of compensator and estimator for network control system

For the network-induced delay and packet dropout in network control system(NCS),a combination of compensation and estimation methods in the controller unit to improve the performance of control system was proposed.The compensation method is for the delay and the estimation is for the packet dropout.The uniform model was established through constructing the augmented state vector.When the delay is less than a sampling period and the packet is transmitted at a fixed rate,the system obtained using the compensation and estimation methods can be viewed as an asynchronous dynamic system with two events.In addition,a sufficiency condition of the exponential stability of the system was derived.The simulation results indicate that the present approach can effectively improve the performance of the control system.
