Delay approximation of stabilizing output derivative feedback controller of degree less than that of the relative degree of the system is well-studied. However, controller of degree equal to or bigger than that of the relative degree is not understood fully. In fact, only the case of relative degree 1 system controlled by 1st order output derivative feedback controller is dealt. Thus, in this paper we want to deal with the case of controller that has its degree bigger than the relative degree of the system. Especially single integrator system with its stabilizing 2nd order output derivative feedback controller and its delay approximation will be discussed. Necessary and sufficient conditions for stable approximation will be shown by analytical proof and simulation.
