Research on High Speed Predictor of Adaptive ADC

The paper introduces a novel method which can improve the slew rate of analog-to-digital converters based on adaptive filter. The residual signal after digitization is divided into several sub-signals, and then the sub-signals are sent to a signal predictor based on adaptive filter for parallel data processing. It analyses the performance of signal noise ratio (SNR) and spurious free dynamic range (SFDR) influenced by the number of sub-signals, constructs a simulation on computer by Matlab. The detailed simulation results show that the method can satisfy the requirements of adaptive ADC.
