A coaxial probe feed model for FDTD

A new FDTD model for a coaxial probe feed based on transmission lines is proposed. Both the metal probe and a material boundary at the transmission line to FDTD interface are accurately modeled. Comparisons with experimental data indicate a significant improvement compared with a previously published transmission-line feed model. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
