An integrated intelligent inventory control system for a marble plant

In this study, a multiple product inventory problem is analyzed for a marble plant located in Ankara, Turkey, which has high inventory levels. Inventory control problem is one of the most crucial problems for all sectors. Problem is evaluated within the fuzzy approach and an integrated intelligent inventory control system is developed for the plant. By the use of the proposed system which help the decision maker to choose the most appropriate product from the inventory. By this way, it is possible to decrease the inventory levels and costs, and also increase the productivity, production efficiency and customer response.
