Ultra-Low-XT Multi-Core Fiber with Standard 125-μm Cladding for Long-Haul Transmission

We realize a 125-μ m cladding multi-core fiber with an ultra-low crosstalk of −67 dB/km to support a 16QAM based 10,000-km transmission. Superior lateral pressure resistance, which is required during the cabling process, is also confirmed.
