Application of a Modified Grey Model in the Processing of Physical Chemistry Experimental Data of Building Materials

The effect of applying the non-equal interval Verhulst direct model in processing the data, which are non-equal interval, non-negative, and have index laws and saturated development trends, is greatly perfect. Two groups of TG-DTA experimental data were cited to forecast the contents of non-evaporable water and conbined water of hydrated cement paste by this gray model, and the high forecast precisions of this modified gray model were validated by the results of examples. The results show that the model can be used to process the original data that are non-equal interval, saturated and index laws. Its modeling process can be programmed by normal application software, which will make the researchers feel more comfortable and easier in experiments of building materials.
