Description on CORBA Event Service by Petri Nets

OMG has provided a set of Common Object Services (COS), which help users build large scale distributed CORBA applications, but Common Object Services Specifications (COSS) don't contain integrated formal descriptions. Hierarchical Object oriented Petri Nets(HOONets) can express the behaviors of individual objects as well as the concurrency between different objects and concurrency internal to an object. This paper applies HOONets to model CORBA Event Service, and gives a formal description of CORBA Event Service .
