Design of Linear CCD Camera for Video Monitor

Imaging process and composition principle of CCD camera are analyzed.A CCD camera based on TH7814A linear CCD sensor is designed,which can fulfill the needs of video monitor with large area image capture and processing.FPGA is employed to generate the CCD drive pulse and implement most of the system's logic functions,which gives the camera the characters of stable circuit and alterable function;Special drive chips are employed to drive the CCD sensor,which simplifies the circuit and unifies the circuit parameters;AFE(analog front-end)is employed to pre-process the CCD output signal,which simplifies the circuit and reduces the reset noise of the CCD;ICS525-02 configurable clock is employed to supply the FPGA with frequency-adjustable clock;Camera Link interface is designed for easy connection of camera with image capture cards;RS232 interface is designed to realize easy configuration and control of the monitor computer to the camera.At last,some application samples of linear CCD are presented.
