Handover method for supporting communication of high-speed mobile terminal and distributed antenna system for performing same

Disclosed are a handover method for supporting communication of a high-speed mobile terminal and a distributed antenna system for performing the same. A method for performing handover in a first digital unit of the distributed antenna system comprises: a step of determining whether all of a plurality of serving radio units for providing a service for the mobile terminal is a shared radio unit shared by a plurality of digital units; and a step of performing a handover for the mobile terminal when all of the plurality of serving radio units is the shared radio unit. Thus, the handover for the high-speed moving mobile unit can be readily performed and the service quality for the high-speed mobile terminal can be secured by minimizing the delay time due to the handover.
