Fuzzy Control Algorithms Implementation for a Synchronous Generator Connected to a Power System

Abstract The paper presents aspects concerning the implementation of fuzzy controllers for the speed and voltage control of a synchronous (hydro) generator connected to a power system. The design for the conventional controllers and for the fuzzy controllers is carried out as part of the paper. A comparison between the multivariable conventional control system and the multivariable fuzzy control system is performed on the basis of digital simulation results.
