PURPOSE: Power line communication based electric vehicle charge cable integrated control box and charge control method are provided to facilitate charge management by providing charge related information to a user. CONSTITUTION: A communication module(210) performs power line communication with an electric vehicle. The communication module performs the power line communication with an external communication device. A control unit(250) extracts charge related information. The control u nit controls power supply cut-off according to a state of charge safety situation. A power cut-off apparatus(260) performs cut-off or restart of power supplied to the electric vehicle.
