Compared on one hand with the ongoing attention that is given to virtually all aspects of the undergraduate computer science curriculum and on the other with active organizations devoted to advanced domain-specific research in Ph.D. programs, master's-level computer science seems often to be squeezed into a small range of the educational spectrum.
