Research Status of Residential DC Microgrid Power Supply Technology

With the increasing of the capacity of distributed energy resources,the problem of pow er quality and pow er loss caused by distributed energy resources paralleling in the grid has become a big challenge,w hich can be effectively alleviated by applying DC supply in distribution netw orks. In recent years,because of the rapid development of pow er electronic technology and the significant improvement of w ork efficiency and rated capacity of AC / DC converter and DC /DC converter,the netw ork loss of DC pow er supply system has been reduced. M eanw hile,the compatibility of household appliances w ith DC pow er supply has been improved,so the residential DC pow er supply technology w ill inevitably become the trend of research and development in the future. The research status of residential DC pow er supply technologies around the w orld w ere systematically review ed,and the advantages and feasibility of these technologies w ere analyzed. Finally,a typical residential DC micro-grid model w as proposed. The involved technical problems,such as the determination of voltage level,the choice of netw orking mode and the system protection and control w ere discussed in detail. Some prospects on the development of DC pow er supply technologies w ere also presented.
