A Novel Speed Control Approach in Parallel-Connected Induction Motor by using a single inverter and Electronic Virtual Line-Shafting

The main purpose of this paper is to present a simple strategy to control speed of parallel connected multi-induction motor fed by a single inverter. In this paper, it is proposed a novel "smart" switching strategy to control the voltages necessities of each motor and it is applied the electronic virtual line shafting (EVLS) for speed synchronization. Simulation and experimental constrains in a two 1.1 kW induction machines test ring both running single V/Hz scheme and fed by a single inverter are presented showing the advantages and limitations of this technique during different load conditions
