Spread Page Challenges for Accessibility in Business Modeling

Nowadays, almost every modeling notation uses graphical representation to explain the scope of the model. However, graphical symbols are not suitable in every situation. In computer to computer exchange, for instance, there is no need to use graphical symbols. What more, they are not welcome, because it produces only difficulties with writing, exchanging and understanding models by machines. The ideal way would be to construct models as multi-layer objects that contain both the graphical and the descriptive representations. The main challenge in such an approach is model’s ability to follow, on every layer, transitions between elements in a way it is done in graphical layer.
