Dynamic reconfigurability is a major feature of future advanced communication systems. This attractive feature is very well being concentrated on by developing of the best environment for such approach, the Software Defined Radio SDR. In this paper, by a detailed study of dynamic reconfiguration methods, we extract main guidelines for designing the processing platforms to accept this important feature, and we present suggested reconfigurable platform with its required assessments. We apply this approach by simulating the partitioning of digital signal processing tasks of some techniques between the digital signal processor (DSP) and the field programmable gate array, which are the main processing components within the suggested platform.
