Dielectric relaxation of Rb2SO4-(NH4)2SO4 mixed crystals

Abstract The dielectric behaviour of [Rbx(NH4)1−x]2SO4 crystals in the microwave region has been determined for 0 ≲ x $$ 0.4. The observed dispersion is well described by a monodispersive relaxation in the paraelectric state at moderate concentrations x. It is shown that the relaxing dipoles behave similarly in pure and in rubidium doped ammonium sulfate.
