Quasi-affine Transform over Limited Integer Grids and Its Application

The scrambling of digital image is the foundation of covering huge image information. A new class of images scrambling technique named Quasi-Affine Transform over Limited Integer Grids (QATLIG) is presented, based on the idea of building reversible linear transform that mapping integers to integers. The main research pays attention to the properties and the construction of QATLIG. The periodicity of QATLIG on digital image is discussed. The experiment result shows that QATLIG has a larger period and leads to a better result when used in digital image scrambling, so it is superior to Arnold transform, Fibonacci transform and other geometric transforms.
