On an Optimally Programmable Sequential Traffic Signalling

A proposed system based on a series of definite ordered sequential pass-signals, the period being adjustable for the required O.G.P. for four channels of a crossing has been developed. These signals are based on the optimum elemental sequences constituting the sub-frame which then constitute the main-frame for a particular traffic condition. For traffic conditions other than this, a separate programme of another elemental sequence-subframe-main frame set can be fed to the same system.
