Wavelet Packet Decomposition Based Rub-impact Fault Diagnosis On A Bearing-Rotor System with Unsteady Oil Film Forces

Singular signal often carries important information on characteristics of operating condition,the wavelet transform has good localization property signal both in time and frequency domains.The signal of rotor rub impact has singular.The rub impact signal features are analyzed on the wavelet packet decomposition,which offers a richer resolution in frequency band,or the signal singular that has position and size of singular is analyzed by the wavelet packet decomposition.The theory analysis and numerical simulation show that the wavelet packet decomposition can be used to obtain the impact fault features effectively.
