Vector fourier transform analysis of dielectric‐covered slot in the broad wall of a waveguide

The resonant length versus offset of a dielectric-covered narrow square ended slot is studied. The slot, located in the broad wall of a rectangular waveguide, is excited by a single mode. The external field is matched to the internal field by the Galerkin method concept. Corrections due to finite wall thickness are also included.
