Forward Link Power Control of Multi-class Hierarchical CDMA Cellular System

Hierarchical CDMA systems, supporting multi-class services with various qualities of service(QoS) requirements, are studied. A power control scheme of forward link of this kind of hierarchical CDMA system is proposed. From the transmit power limit of a base station, taking account of path loss ,shadow shading and soft handover, a certain decided rule of the distribution power factor and an expression of system outage probability are got. At the end,the multi-class hierarchical CDMA cellular system is simulated with using the Monte Carlo method.
