Power Measurement and Modeling of Quadcopters on Horizontal Flight

Quadcopters are widely used for hobbies, video recording, etc., and the delivery quadcopters are expected as one of promising applications. However, the flight time of quadcopters is limited due to the battery capacity constraint. Therefore, effective power management and flight planning are necessary. In this paper, we present the measurement of power consumption of quadcopters on horizontal flight. We also construct the simple power model, and discuss about the usefulness of proposed model.
