Test Data and Results of the Automatic Metric Selection Method

The metrics used in the experiment were selected according to a literature research in which only papers dealing with evaluation of medical image segmentations were considered. In a final step a subset of the found metrics was selected that contains metrics in various categories like overlapping metrics, information theoretic metrics, metrics with chance correction, and classic metrics. These metrics are listed in Table 1
