A watermarking for 3D point cloud model using distance normalization modulation

Point cloud model has received more and more attention from researchers in the field of computer graphics. This paper presents a new method to embed watermark into a 3D point cloud model using distance normalization modulation. Embed watermarking bits into a model by modulating the mean value of the distance normalization in each bin. In order to make our algorithm achieve a better robustness, two key parameters of this scheme are discussed. Experiment results demonstrate that this scheme is fairly robust against attacks, such as similarity transformation, reorder, simplification, cropping, noising.
