Optimal load distribution in power plants based on an improved dynamic programming method

With the detailed analysis of the importance of implementing optimal load distribution in power plants,this paper emphatically discusses a generic dynamic programming(DP) method applied in optimal load distribution in thermal power plants.After its deficiency is pointed out,an improved DP method is proposed,which changes step length according to experienced-based strategies,and conducts secondary optimization on the solution under different step length,so as to basically overcome the problem of no optimization brought by the step length selected irrelevantly.The good effect of the proposed method has been proved by the case in this paper;it has good applicable value in projects.
