G(Hui)

G(Hui) is the Chinese character for hedgehog. Like the thorny creature's defensive shield that protects and camouflages it from predators, the Hui garment is comprised of a coat of aggressively reactive sharp spikes intended to symbolically ward off the threatening presence of others. In default mode, the spikes sway gently in place, creating the sense of a living and breathing organism. However, upon detection of presence within the proximity of the garment, they violently turn to face the approaching subjects, and the LED lights change color from white to red.
