Provisioning QoS in differentiated service domain for MIPv6

The real-rime applications will be one of the dominant types of traffic transported through Mobile Internet Protocol version 6 (MIPv6) and the performance will be affected by non real-time applications. Providing quality of service (QoS) architecture by using differentiated service (DiffServ) is more scalable in handling real-time traffic. The research is carried out to provide the acceptable fairness of services for better QoS support for real-time traffic based on a scheduling algorithm named round robin priority queuing (RRPQ).
