Crashworthiness is a basic requirement in vehicle
development process. Especially seat backs that constitute
the boundary of luggage compartment shall have sufficient
strength to protect occupants from displaced luggages in a
frontal impact. In this paper, at first, the strength of
seats and their anchorages, performed in CAE analysis, are
evaluated. Then deformation movement of them are analyzed.
Finally appropriate design, as countermeasure, are
operated.
