Root Mean Square Value of the Electromyographic Signal in the Isometric Torque of the Quadriceps, Hamstrings and Brachial Biceps Muscles in Female Subjects

Background: The surface electromyography (EMG) is a technique to capture and measure electrical activity and muscle action potential. It is applied to specify the production of force and to analyze muscle fatigue. The Root Mean Square (RMS) value has been used to quantify the electric signal because it reflects the physiological activity
