4-phase DS-CDMA mobile radio receiver in non-Gaussian environment

The aim of the paper is to investigate the performance of digital mobile radio communications using the RAKE receiver under impulsive environments. The performances studies are carried out in terms of spectral efficiency and bit error probability. The assumed modulation technique is QPSK. The signature sequences used for spreading the signal are complex valued and characterized by different correlation properties; the possible choices lead to a performance comparison based on the properties of the sequences in order to maximize the number of users per cell.<<ETX>>
