Application and Inspiration of Case Teaching in Teaching the Heat Transfer Unit Operation

Cultivation of applied talents is the main objectives and tasks of contemporary university education. Reasonable case teaching can preferably combine theoretical teaching and practical teaching, and help the applicationoriented talents improve their qualities. Taking the teaching of heat transfer unit operation in chemical principles for example, the application of case teaching has been detailedly analyzed by using the opening case method, the problem case method and the comprehensive case method. The results show that the effect of the case teaching is better than that of the conventional teaching method. The case teaching will help students to improve their abilities to analyze problems and solve problems.
