Receiver operating characteristics for a linearly thresholded coherence estimation detector

A method is presented for establishing a threshold so that in the absence of a coherent source only a specified percentage of coherence estimates exceeds the threshold. Also presented is an algorithm for computing the probability that a coherence estimate exceeds the established threshold for a given coherent source level.
