Numerical Analysis of Design and Its Landing Airdrop Ammunition Box

Based on the problem that the ammunition is difficult to be transferred to the troops stationed in the plateau,island and so on through the general logistics,suitable airdrop ammunition box was designed.Using air-drop way to supply this area is a good solution to the difficulty of military logistics in this area.Using the finite element analysis method,we established the finite element model of ammunition boxes respectively by means of explicit central difference method for solving the dynamic equation of the contact algorithm and symmetric penalty function,and studied the dynamics of impact ammunition box landing moment. We obtained the ammunition boxes landing response. The result shows the feasibility of the aerial ammunition box landing. Research results can provide a basis and guidance for the design and improvement of ammunition box structure,air cushion packaging and the high cost of air-drop supplies test.
