This paper presents the parameter optimization design method based on the likelihood function under movement trajectory constranint. It can be used for contraposition occlusal surface on centric occlusion to determine the system parameters quickly and accurately. This paper discusses acquisition of human mandible movement tracking data using dual-electromagnetic sensors, fitting of spatial movement trajectory using Catmull-Rom spline curve, jointing and matching of model data acquired from multiple measurement sources with movement trajectory, so as to complete a full digital reconstruction of human stomatognathic system and finally accomplish optimized calculation of articulator's parameters by constructing maximum likelihood function. In order to verify algorithm feasibility, the method discussed in this paper is used to calculate articultor's parameters for a dental patient, which had passed movement simulation. The results show that this algorithm can accomplish tracking and fitting of movement trajectory, and can satisfy conditions required by dental restoration.
