Optimization Design of Metallurgy Especial Frame Structure

Based on the generalized design of the metallurgy especial frame and by means of combining the structure analysis of finite element with optimization algorithm, the section sizes of the longitudinal beams and the traverse beams were optimized, and the finite element model l of the frame, optimization mathematics model were established. The finite element model was validated by electric measurement. The optimization design program was made by using ANSYS parameter design language and the optimum design was obtained by using the one-order method of ANSYS software. The practical application indicates that the optimum design method is efficient and convenient. So it may widely be applied to the engineering of the frame design.
