The principal aim of project management should be to underpin precise specification of the engineering work to be performed, thereby giving it tangible form and at the same time naturally also contributing towards quality assurance. Derogating from the definition under the DIN standard 69901, this naturally also applies to the cooperation between all parties involved with regard to communication, which is often key to successful implementation of the project as a whole.
