Design of a Validation Tool Based on Design Patterns for Intelligent Systems

One of the most important phases in the methodology for de- veloping intelligent systems is the validation phase. To be considered objective and representative, validation results need to be previously analysed by a group of experts from within the field. The SHIVA © tool facilitates the use of statistical methods which permit the collective analysis of the interpretations of a group of experts. This study shows how SHIVA © has been reengineered applying object-oriented pro- gramming and design patterns that make the tool more flexible and ex- tendable to future modifications.
